This is why clarity about technology is not just an intellectual exercise. It is a psychological one. When you understand something clearly, the fear it produces becomes appropriately calibrated. Not gone, because sometimes the appropriate response to a clear-eyed assessment of risk is genuine concern. But no longer disproportionate, catastrophizing, or paralyzing.
The people who navigate technological change best are not the least anxious. They are the most informed. The anxiety becomes signal rather than noise.

Technology changes what is possible. It does not determine who we become or what we value.
